AUGUST 2012

He thinks I'm worth dying for... I think it's time we started to see the value in us that God sees in us that He sent His Son for us... and that when we look at another, we only look through the Blood of Christ...
"When they persisted in questioning Him, He stood up and said to them, 'The one without sin among you should be the first to throw a stone at her.'" John 8:7
I can't afford to see things outside of His Blood ♥

Everywhere I go, I recognize I am walking on (standing on) Holy ground, for wherever I go You go (Christ in me), and wherever You are is Holy.

Pressure is part of the process... when wheat is harvested, it is dried out, reaped (cut/gathered), threshed (beaten) to remove the chaff (enclosure), washed (to seperate impurities), tempered (toughened), cracked, ground, and sifted...all before it is usable to make bread.
Don't be frustrated with the pressure or pain of whatever you're going through... you're being prepared to be used to make bread, which will be used to help feed the hungry and starving.
Watch Me and know that I am God. Where I am taking you, you have never been. Dream bigger, dream with Me.
"Do not remember the past events, pay no attention to things of old. Look, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it?..." Isaiah 43:18-19

It is just so amazingly awesome that the God we serve is also our Daddy that we love ♥

"Jesus did not talk about the love of God based on what He knew from reading Scriptures. Although a person with great insight and deep longing to understand the words of God can receive the same revelation of the goodness of the Father, Jesus' revelation did not simply come from studying the words of God, but from an intense personal experience." -Leif Hetland
God wants interaction with His kids.

An idol is anything we look to instead of God for Living Water. Where am I placing my affections? What am I counting on to give my life meaning?

Jesus, You quench my thirst... by the Living Water I am refreshed... in You, I lack nothing.

God is asking you to interact WITH Him... to sing with Him, to play with Him, to dance with Him, to dream with Him, to create with Him... to work WITH Him (rather than for Him). He is calling His children home. Knowing who we are in Christ, knowing our position in the Family, gives us the freedom to particiapte in the Family Business (doing the work of the Father) as His sons and daughters.

I will not be moved by my circumstances. I will only be moved by the Presence and Heart of God.

A friend of mine was sharing with me about a very popular novel series she was reading... she said that reading it, she felt she was in a relationship with the main character. I thought wow. What would it look like, then, if we read the Bible (the Story of God) and felt like we were in a relationship with Him. ♥

"We're not doing the gospel much justice when we walk past people...the world's trash is God's treasure." -Todd White

On the cross, Jesus cried out “It is finished.” Imagine yourself shouting back “ Not quite. I need to finish the job. I still need to win God’s blessing." -Tim Chester
Are we worried that the work of the cross isn't enough? Are we unsure if we are included in that? What is the motive behind our behavior? What does it mean to strive? Are we trying to earn something? a paycheck? friendship? love? ...
approval? Do we believe His love is enough... and if it is, does anything else truly matter?
Jesus, we're seeking, searching, watching... show us what Your Love looks like... make Your Love more than words or a picture... take each one of us into a revelatory experience that we can personally see what this Love looks like. We can only share what we have personally experienced and we are called to love the world. Love looks like something. Grace looks like something. You, Jesus... You look like something. Open our eyes that we might see Your fullness! ♥ That we each might see what You look like.

When is it ever the wrong time to pray with someone...?

Healthy honorable confrontation begins with our acknowledging that there is such a thing.

Daddy God, I have been searching all my life to find out what I was created for... I'm so excited to be able to see it now. I have been created for You... by You. There is no greater reason, no greater purpose, no greater calling than to be chosen by You, to be in love with You, to learn Your heart and Your ways, to be taught by You, to be sent by You.... to be alive by Your very breath, to be c...
overed by Your blood... Nothing compares, Jesus... absolutely nothing compares to You. Nothing can even compete with You. You are above it all and for You and to You I give all of me and everything that comes with me... my self, my things, my family, my friends, my finances, my heart, my mind. It's a triffle, really, but it's all I have and I lay it all down...
I belong to You, nothing else will do. You are my One reason, You are the hope of glory. I am completely Yours, even the parts of me that I'm unaware of. Consume me, O God. Mark me. You are my One Love and I choose to be Yours.

I pray God's will be done and that any/all heavenly agents that are moved by His command be released, right now, to complete their assignment, in Jesus Name, for you, for me, for all those who have been sent into our lives, for our leadership, and for every heart that God calls as His. Amen.

Through blindness there is sight, through deaf ears comes hearing, from death there is life. Healing comes to those who realize they are afflicted. How can I have my eyes opened if I believe I can already see? How will I realize that my deafness has been healed if I think I hear clearly? How can one experience a resurrection unless there is first death...?

Take me, break me, burn me, consume me, shape me, mold me, use me O God!

I am covered, bathed, and clothed in the Blood of Jesus.

Worship is a lifestyle of remembering.  Luke 22:19

If worship is a lifestyle, remembering is a lifestyle, and repentance is a lifestyle, then repentance defines remembering, which defines worship.

We were given the spirit of self-control, not others-control. Galatians 5:22-23

O Daddy God, I'm thankful for You this morning, Your day. You alone are my Breath, in Your Hands I rest, in the fullness of You I reside.
Lord God, show us Your glory today, take us yo that new place in You, that our eyes may be opened in a new understanding of Your grace, Your goodness, Your greatness, and Your glory.
Heavenly Father, bring us into the Garden this morning... show us a glimps ...
of Your Kingdom that we might see that we are fully hidden in You. Reveal our hearts that we may turn from the lies of the world, dig deep into our depths, remove that which is unpleasant to You and replace the emptiness with Your truth.
May Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Release Your heavenly agents on assignment this morning that their mission issued by You alone may be fulfilled. Thank You, Jesus, for being Lord over us.

Jesus and I worked out together this morning... What would happen if I acted as if Jesus were actually WITH me in EVERYTHING I did... ♥

♥ ...the moment when reading the Word turns into an intimate conversation with God Himself ♥

All of me is in love with all of You ♥ bound and wound together for all eternity. You defeated separation, You found me, rescued me, never to be apart again. I am so in love with You, I'm wrapped up in You, I'm filled with Your essence, Your breath fills my lungs. My heart beats Your rhythm, my mouth speaks Your words, I am consumed by Your passion. I pray Your every desire come forth, in Your Holy Name. It's You, and You alone ♥

You cannot outrun the Hand of God - the warmth of His Embrace will surely find you. His Light searches the darkest of dark to find the one He loves.
