It always goes back to the Cross. xo

Jesus, I want to know You, really know You. I learned about intimacy today, (something I'm embarrassed to say I never learned about before). I want to build a deep, forever relationship with You. I want to spend time with You, talk with You, go on long walks with You, do things together. I want to laugh with You, cry with You, share secrets with You, dream with You. I'm not interested in a quick, 

feel-good-for-a-moment thing. I'm not after what You can 'give' me. You already gave me eternal life, and I want to build that lifetime with You. I want to go places with You, share life with You. Jesus, You're everything I've ever searched for and I don't want to forfeit one single moment because I'm inpatient. If anyone was ever worth slowing down for, it's You. I know You're not in any hurry, and I just realized...neither am I. I love You.. thank You for loving me.

I AM a daughter of the King. That MEANS something, here, right now, today...that has VALUE. This IS my identity. This determines every aspect or area of my life.
If there is anything that presents CONTRARY to this Truth, then I have a choice of how I align myself.
Nothing, not one single thing, can keep me from my PLACE and POSITION in God's Kingdom, I have been fully RESTORED by the Blood of the Lamb, and that CANNOT be undone.
I leave my peasant clothes in the garbage and dress in His Glory, His Power, His Grace, and His Love.

What is your heart responding to...?
When I say:
"well, I wouldn't behave this way if this thing hadn't happened to me"
OR
"if this person didn't treat me this way, then I wouldn't react like this"
then I'm giving that 'thing' or 'person' power and control over me. I'm giving something else permission to determine how I think, feel, and act.
BUT..
If I know God is good ALL the time, and I believe in my heart that He defines who I am, then NOTHING has power over me and everything I am responds from His Love.

Jesus WILL be glorified through your life.

You're not as fragile as you think you are.

Jesus didn't tell us to pray for the sick... He said to go HEAL the sick.

Jesus is in the restoration business...and that means so am I. 

Is your identity in your crisis... or in your Christ?

O God, let Your Voice be louder than anything else I hear; let Your Glory be brighter than anything else I see; may Your Heart-beat be all that I feel and Your Presence be more tangible than any worldly thing. Daddy God, I'm so thankful that I've been saved...but to be honest, heaven is not what I'm after...I need You, today, right here, right now. Jesus, I don't want to think ABOUT You, I want to think WITH You.
You alone are my hiding place, my resting place. Holy Spirit, have Your way with me.

God, You're not a means to an end... You ARE the end. You know the needs we have, but what I'm hungry - starving for - is a deeper awareness of You, to be with You face-to-face, to inhale Your breath...to be fully alive in You. I have been shallow and selfish sometimes when we talk. I hear myself sometimes saying "I really need..." or "please if You could just do..." I do not know what's best f

or me. (a big part of me would like to think I do, but I don't). You alone know what's best for me. My significance is not found by any skill or talent I have nor am I defined by my accomplishments (no matter how genuine). I am defined by You. I don't want to play games and I don't want to be sidetracked. Take me up into You, Lord! In all things, let me see Your glory! Keep my eyes in Your hand - Protect me, keep me, make me, take me! Open my eyes to see the fullness of You! You know my heart, O God... Hide me in You.

Nothing (no THING) can keep The Lord from saving.

Jesus, I'm so happy You are Lord of my life... I just couldn't do it any other way!

You are Spirit-led and Spirit-filled. You belong to Jesus. No one can take you from Him. By choosing Jesus in every situation, you can trust you are right where He wants you. Your confidence is in Him. Anything coming against you must leave. All voices that don't belong to the Spirit of the Almighty God must be quiet right now. You hold an anti-harassment order AND a no-contact order against all agents of darkness, signed and sealed by the Blood of the Lamb. You are loved, protected, and free!

All that I am, I am by the grace of God.

Oh, Father God... I am just a little woman, with a very little life. I cannot boast about one single thing. I have no scholarly credentials, no earthly authority... I don't posses much and I don't make much. But I have a heart that is full and complete in Christ and I hear Your call. Apart from You, I can do nothing. But I am a vessel... Your vessel to fill and move through. I empty myself o

f anything and everything so that only You fill me... only You come out of me. If You can use this very little me, O Father, I delight in whatever place You send me, in whatever way You choose to use me. Please make me flexible, with Your perfect Hands, make me pliable to fit Your design. On earth, I have nothing... but God, Father, in You I have everything. I have Your Son and He has me. He stops for the one... He stopped for me. I am a very little woman, with a heart full of Christ, and with Him I will stop for the one.

Jesus moved from love... never from fear, always from love. He prayed from love. He healed from love. He spoke from love. He died from love. ...and He was raised from love.

...you can't give someone what you don't have... you can't teach someone what you haven't experienced to be true.

Jesus, I pray for each and every one of us to have a personal encounter with You! Amen.

Even amidst our suffering, confusion, pain or distress, there is great joy and certainty that this problem... this situation that grieves you or me... it is not the final word on the matter. I can praise Him who has SEEN the Victory that my hope rests in.

"I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world.” (John 16:33)

God, I pray I be consumed by Your forgiving heart.


I believe faith requires risk.

He gave His whole self for me, I give nothing less than my whole self to Him.

When you feel secure in who you are...and Whose you are, then your worth and your value will come from Jesus...


What if...when we go into our place of employment, we weren't trying to earn a paycheck...but rather we choose to be there to BLESS our employer and their patrons...

Jesus, I pray for Your Person to manifest through me at my place OF employment. I am only moved by heaven, and I'm here not in lack, but from abundance. I pray for a mindset shift, make me think like You - for I have the mind of Christ - that I'm not trying to earn something by my performance, but that I'm choosing (volunteering even) to be here to GIVE something. This is my missionfield. Be through me all that I'm not on my own. These are Your people, the ones You love, the ones You came for..reveal Yourself through me.

Let Your Body be mobilized, O God! Jesus is STILL here to set the captives free... manifest through us, move through Your community, Your city. Take us, use us, BE us, Jesus. We repent from our selfish pride. Make us the vessels You designed us to be. Do whatever You think is right... we surrender our own assessment God, our thinking is short-sighted and flawed. Open our eyes, Father God, that we might be consumed by Your Kingdom, that we might rest in Christ Jesus, the hope of glory!

'Now, the Lord is Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord IS, there is FREEDOM.' (Hallelujah!!) 2Cor 3:17
'And we ALL, who with UNVEILED faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being TRANSFORMED into His image with ever-INCREASING glory, which comes from the Lord, who IS the Spirit.' 2Cor 3:18
God, You are SO good to us!! Thank You for opening our eyes as we turn to You!

Laying in bed, watching the rain blow sideways..

God, make me like the rain that I move with Your breath and water the land You choose.

Move over me, Holy Spirit, like a rushing river. Shape me like moving waters smooth a stone. In You, I am a treasure.


Father God, don't ever let me forget Your Majesty! I can't even begin to comprehend the depths of my prayer, none-the-less, the one thing I know is that You are God... and I am not. Oh! my mind is racing with every foul word I've ever said. Every memory of everything prideful thing I've done... every attempt at my own salvation. Even my own efforts to end my misery... I do not determine the number

 of my days. God, I did not trust You. O God, my heart aches... I want to swallow every shallow word that has come from my mouth. There is no strength in me independent of You. I cannot stand on my own. Whatever the cost, I answer You. Here I am, Lord. I am Your child and I know Your voice, like the sheep do a Shepard. Hear my 'yes' Daddy God! Only through Your Son do I speak with any boldness what-so-ever. Pay attention to my heart, Father... it is by Your design. I cannot stand against You, I get lower... lower still. Pierce me again, Lord Jesus... I give You my ear. I choose to serve You. Who am I to say what that looks like. I hear Your voice and I answer again and again - hear I am, God.

I will stop for the One who stopped for me.

For most of my life, I've found myself saying "whoever you want me to be, I can be that." I have even found myself saying that to my Father, God.

Until one day He said back to me "it's not about being who I want you to be...it's about being who I MADE you to be."

If its not God-sent, it IS God-used -

We know that ALL things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 HCSB)
Speak to your situation. Claim God's truth over it. Declare your outcome, in Jesus name. Refuse distress, distraction, and discontentment. You are called. You are chosen. You are justified. You are glorious. You are victorious. ALL in Christ Jesus. Bad reports can not stop you. Negative situations or circumstances will not move you. Confusion must leave. Take the Christ-given authority over your life and your family. Agree outloud with the plans He has for you - to prosper you and not to harm you. 

You have favor. You are protected. You are loved. You are a child of God.

I like the rain because it washes the dirt away and at the same time it nourishes causing growth.

God, rain on me.

Daddy God, who are we to tell You what is good and what is not. You are the Most High, You are Ruler, You are Creator. Your wisdom is Infinate and we cannot comprehend. You are always good, right, and perfect. Have Your way with us, O God. Do whatever You think is right. Whatever it takes, I cry out not only for myself, but for all of Your children. Shape us, make us, refine and define us. Jesus, 

my Lord, my Savior, my Friend...I come to You. I hide in You. I am alive by You. Take me with You as You GO to set all the captives free. Holy Spirit, fill us, teach us Your ways. Train us, equip us. Deliver us, O Father God. I stand and watch and share with You. I pray for us, Your children. Forgive us our thinking. Meet us here, break the chains and barriers that hold us back. Pour out Your love, consume us with Your fire, posses us with Your Spirit. Breathe in us a new breath. Wash us, cleanse us, grow us. Prune the vine. Call our name. Bring great joy and vision to sustain the journey. Create in us a new song that we shower You with praise anew. Leave no stone unturned in us God. We are a blank canvas - paint Your Story on us. Hear me, feel me... take this weight of Your people. Show us the fullness of Your glory...meet us face-to-face. You alone are The Lord our God. Your will be done, Your Kingdom come, Almighty God, on earth as it is in heaven. Your will. Your will. Amen.
